Old Time Trucks®
offers antique truck buffs the chance to enjoy the old truck hobby the way
it was meant to be—lots of fun.
Shirley Sponholtz started the Old Time
Trucks® organization and its magazine of the same name in January 2004. Until
May 2002, she worked as the editor of Wheels of Time. During her
12-year tenure with the American Truck Historical Society, membership
increased from 10,000 to over 23,000.

Having fun with
old trucks while preserving trucking history is Old Time Trucks' primary
goal. Old trucks and their history are very closely intertwined—the history didn't happen without the
trucks. We will be creating local chapters so that members can meet and enjoy
friendships with each other. We also
hope that through this organization, we can encourage the public in greater
appreciation of trucks and trucking. |
